The Health Centre, established in 1991, provides comprehensive medical consultation and treatment services to students, staff (both teaching and non-teaching), and their dependents. All prescribed medications are dispensed free of charge. In addition to treatment, the Health Centre promotes health education through regular awareness programs.
Since its inception, the Health Centre has primarily served as a referral hospital, directing cases that require specialist consultation to S.V.R.R.G.G. Hospital and SVIMS for advanced care. As part of its outreach efforts, the Health Centre organizes medical camps, where specialists provide expert consultations and preventive health services.
Specialist consultations are available regularly, with an ophthalmologist visiting every Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and gynecologists from SVIMS offering consultations every Monday and Friday between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. These services ensure accessible specialized care within the institution.
Since 1991, the Health Centre has remained committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services, focusing on both prevention and treatment of common medical conditions among the institution’s community.
