Dr.P.Mallikarjuna obtained his B.Tech in Civil Engineering, M.Tech in Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering and Ph.D. from S.V University College of Engineering, Tirupati. He Joined as Lecturer in the department of Civil Engineering in SVU College of Engineering in 1985.He was promoted as Reader in 1989 and Professor in 1998.He has an Experience of 36 years teaching various Courses of Hydraulics and water Resources Engineering to Under Graduate (UG) and Post Graduate (PG) students. He held various academic and administrative positions such as Chairman, BOS (UG & PG), HOD ,Vice-Principal, Principal, Dean and Academic Senate member. He guided five Ph.D. Scholars, fifteen M.Tech Dissertation works and authored more than fifty Technical papers published in Prestigious national and International Journals. He received Best Research Paper awards for the technical Papers published in Indian Water Resources Society (IWRS) in 2015 and Institution of Engineers (India) in 2013 and Union Ministry of Water Resources- Department of Irrigation Prize in 2012. He is the Coordinator of UGC SAP during 2002-2004 and COSIST during 2005-2006, water Technology Centre. He is a Fellow of Institution of Engineers (India), member of Indian Society for hydraulics and Indian Water Resources Society and Indian Society for Technical Education. He is recipient of “State Award for the Best University Teacher” by Higher Education Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh and Engineer of the year Award by the Institution of Engineers(India), Tirupati Local center in 2016. He rendered Consultancy Services to various Government Organizations.
