    Training in Business Management helps students acquire professional  skills to develop entrepreneurial and management qualities. The Department specifically focuses on sensitizing women to the new  opportunities which are available in the corporate world and services sector. The Department of Business Management offers a post-graduate  self-financed course to train the students in this direction.
    Students have job opportunities in India as well as in other countries  as management trainees in multinational corporate houses, service sectors like hotels, tourism industry, corporate hospitals, banking,  social marketing organizations like NGOs and women development projects,  teaching and research, setting up own business units and supporting the  business units as second generation entrepreneurs.

The Department is actively involved in the Research Programmes on  various thrust areas. The following Research Programmes are being  offered by the Department on Full-time and Part-time basis by following  the UGC guidelines.

Knowledge Management and E-Learning, Micro, Small and Medium Business Management, ICT and Women Empowerment, Micro Finance Management, Human Resource Quality and Development, Data science and Information Science for Decision Making.

Duration     :    2 Years (4 Semesters)            No. of Seats   :  60 Regular
Eligibility    : Bachelor's Degree of any recognized University. Students should qualify  through the University level Common Entrance Test (SPMVVPGCET).  Admission will be made on the basis of ranks obtained in the Entrance  Test.
Course Content      :
Corporate Financial Accounting, E-Commerce, Financial Markets, Financial  Services, Accounting Standards, Taxation, Corporate Tax Planning,  Quantitative Techniques, Managerial Economics, International Financial  Management, Security Analysis and Portifolio Management.
The students have to undertake a two months project
