Training on Android app development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

Candidates will be given training on Android app development using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, which will be helpful for everyone. It is a 2-hour workshop where everyone will learn about Android app development using Kotlin and jetpack compose, how we can use it, and where we can apply it. This workshop will be very useful and interesting.

Theme : Impact of social media on society

Candidates have to present the given theme in the form of a poster (chart) using paints, crayons, sketches, paper crafts, etc.

When a participant rolls a dice:

• If a ladder comes, then points are doubled.
• If a snake comes, no points are given, and punishment will be given (sing a song, dance, act like a monkey, etc.).
• If neither ladder nor snake comes, a question is asked based on the participant's selected course. If the answer is correct, points are awarded, and the participant can move forward based on the number rolled. If the answer is incorrect, no points are awarded.

Contest Structure

The contest will consist of three rounds:

• Round 1 (Basic Level): 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on C & C++.
• Round 2 (Medium Level): 20 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) on C & C++.
• Round 3: 10 programs with code will be provided. Participants must debug and execute the code on the system. The code will be between 25 to 50 lines.

Proposal Submission

Candidates are required to submit an abstract of their proposal in any thrust area of Computer Science and Engineering (PDF format). The number of words in the abstract should limit to 350 words.

The time limit for the presentation by the team before the panel of experts is 7 min.

Event Description:

In this exciting game, participants will have five chances to shoot balloons. Each balloon contains a question that must be answered correctly in order to score points. The participant with the highest score at the end wins!

NOTE:

• If ballon blast, one point and answering correctly gives one point

Event Description

A particular concept will be given by the organizers to one member of any team. The team member should enact the concept, and the rest of the team will have 1 minute to identify the concept. If the team correctly identifies the concept, they will earn a point. If not, the question will be passed to the next team. The team that gives the correct answer will also get a chance to give the concept to the next team. There will be 5 iterations, meaning each team will get 5 questions in total. This is a team event.

Eligibility:

• All registered participants are eligible to participate in Round 1.

Round 1 (FASTEST FINGERS FIRST):

• Google form will be shared to the participants using a registered WhatsApp group for answering the questions in round 1.
• Based on accuracy and speed, the top 20 will be selected for Round 2.

Round 2 (TECH BUFF):

• To compete in the second round, the top 20 participants must register and pay Rs.150/-.
• Participants will be given 15 multiple-choice questions to complete in 15 minutes.
• Based on accuracy and speed, the participants are made to go to HOT SEAT (Round 3).

Round 3 (THE HOT SEAT):

• The top contestant from round 2 will have the first chance to occupy the HOT SEAT.
• If the top contestant quits the game or is unable to continue the game after level 1 or 2, the next best contender will have the chance to get onto the HOT SEAT.
• There are 3 levels. In each level, five multiple-choice questions will be given. The contestant must answer all the questions correctly within the given time frame to move on to the next level.
• The difficulty level of the questions will increase with each level, testing the contestant's knowledge and skills further.

Lifelines:

• 50:50: Two incorrect options are eliminated.
• Phone-a-Friend: The contestant can call a pre-selected friend or family member to ask for help with the question.
• Ask the expert: The contestant can ask for help from a subject matter expert who is present in the venue.

Prize Structure:

With each right response, the reward money rises, and the participant can win a maximum of Rs. 2000/-.

Quit Option:

Contestants can choose to quit the game at any level-break, and take the money they have won up to that point. To claim the amount, the contestant must finish the respective level. The completion requirements for each level ensure that competitors are unable to receive any portion of the prize money until they complete the level successfully.
